Terms of Service

Last updated August 2, 2026. These terms explain the current intended use of FencePlan’s early planning tools.

Using FencePlan

FencePlan provides tools to help homeowners explore a proposed fence project and to help authorized contractors review submitted quote requests. By using FencePlan, you agree to use the service lawfully and provide information that is accurate to the best of your knowledge.

Planning estimates are not quotes

All measurements, linear footage, quantity calculations, prices, and project ranges in FencePlan are estimates for planning purposes only. They are not a survey, permit determination, engineering recommendation, construction specification, or binding contractor quote. A qualified contractor must verify project details, site conditions, applicable rules, and final pricing.

Property and map information

You are responsible for confirming property boundaries, easements, utilities, local regulations, and any approvals needed for a fence project. Map imagery and drawn lines are visual planning aids only.

Quote requests

Submitting a quote request does not create a contract with a contractor and does not guarantee a response. Where you provide contractor-sharing consent, FencePlan may make your submitted information available to authorized contractor users for quote-related follow-up.

Contractor access

Contractor accounts are for authorized users only. Account holders are responsible for protecting their credentials and using homeowner information only for legitimate quote-related purposes. Contractor access may be changed or removed to protect the service and its users.

Acceptable use and availability

Do not misuse FencePlan, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, submit unlawful content, or use the service to collect or expose personal information. Features may change, be unavailable, or be removed as FencePlan develops.

Changes to these terms

FencePlan may update these terms as the product evolves. Continued use after an update means you should review the revised terms. The date at the top of this page identifies the latest version. For legal or terms-related questions, email fenceplan@outlook.com.
